It’s Fourth of July and this week is for picnics and popping champagne to celebrate our wonderful country. Out on our farm, you can see the fireworks that the city sets off downtown. I planned a cozy picnic to eat dinner al fresco under the rocket’s red glare. I’m going to put on Elissa’s playlist inspired by Bruce Springsteen and kick back for the evening. When the entertainment is already provided, it’s easy to put together this cheerful table!
I used Pomegranate’s Cherry Picnic because it’s so summery and festive in red, white and blue. It just screams Americana and livens up your day immediately. The blue napkin rings go so perfectly with the print and the cups!
This print is so bold on it’s own I don’t need a lot to add to the table. I picked some fresh Hydrangea’s from my garden and made sure to keep a lot of the leaves on to reflect those in the pattern.
Fourth of July of course calls for spirits. What better choice than fizzy champagne that pops when you open it! I chose Graham Beck Brut Rose, which is technically a sparkling wine but will refresh anyone in the heat of July. Everyone have a safe and wonderful holiday wherever you are in the great USA!
