Linen. My first linen collection with Pomegranate. Very exciting. But also, very limited. We want this to feel exceptionally special.
Linen retains texture more than cotton, is heavier than cotton and often stronger than cotton. Our linen is soft and supple to touch with a really lovely drape.
I wanted a natural-colored background which not only emphasized the natural quality of the linen but also reflected the library of cream-colored books that dominate my father’s bedroom in the English countryside, a room that I now sleep in whenever I stay with my mother.
With little rust colored motif’s dotted across the spread of linen borrowed from the spines of those books in the library, and every once in a while, you will find a pesky fly sitting amongst the motifs and a tiny shell just to remind me of life in the Bahamas, not just England. The tablecloths, runners, placemats and napkins all carry an embroidered rust and grey frame to finish the story off. I hope you love our Pesky Fly linen collection as much as I do.
